JAI MAHAMAYA KI JAI![3]
JAI MAHAMAYA KI JAI!
JAI MAHAMAYA KI JAI!
OM NAMAH SHIVAYA! Îm
Karma Yoga is the Spiritual Path
1. The work we are going to do has not only a material aim. It will be with you wherever you are, even after you leave this body and get into another world, this work will remain with you, and you will benefit from it. Whatever garden you plant and whatever seeds you sow here, you will receive them there too.
2. This is spiritual work; it is not material. This is not my job and it is not yours, this is the work of the whole cosmos, even of the whole universe. Spend on this work as much time as you can, this will be useful for you in the future. The more time and energy you spend here, the bigger your benefit will be. Due to this, your health will also get better; you will have good digestion, and healthy dreaming, your mind will be purified.
3. Everyone’s duty is to be attentive and not to do useless things. Do your duty! Do not be idle! This is an age of Action! Perform your Karma Yoga! Show ideal actions to the world! Service to humanity is service to God and worship of God!
4. Therefore, you should never fear difficult work. We must do everything possible - whatever is necessary. There is no low or bad work in this world if it is done in the right spirit!
5. Only with the help of Karma you can perfect yourselves. Therefore, a man should not hesitate about doing any work – whether it is worthy of him or not, whether it is big or small. There is no bad work - work is work.
6. Learn to talk less and work more. This is the field for spiritual practice. Karma is the highest path of perfection.
7. It is a great thing – to have a human body. Whoever comes to the Earth must work. The lazy one even though he lives, is like a dead one. All who have taken birth must work to be successful.
8. You have to be diligent, persistent, and hardworking. The inaction and laziness are ruinous. The idle person is like a corpse. Only those who work actively do live in reality.
9. To work is everyone’s duty, regardless of whether they are poor or rich, old or young, a man or a woman. If something has to be done you should not hesitate, whether this work is worthy work or not, it should be done. If a man of high position is prepared to perform any service - even the lowest service - he sets an example for others.
10. By working hard, a man can achieve peace within himself and in the world around him. If everyone works diligently and with love, there will be peace throughout the world.
Truth, Simplicity and Love
1. Those who have come here should not be lazy. You have to be ready to work. I would really like everyone to be brave, energetic and hard-working. Never lose courage.
2. As you have come to this world, you have to seek achievements, and in order to achieve success you have to work hard. The work requires staunchness. Become courageous and lead others to courage too.
3. I do not need thousands or millions of followers. Even one is enough. One perfect being is enough to change the world. Rama, Krishna, and Christ were not many. There was only one Rama, only one Krishna, and only one Christ; and they changed the world.
4. Buddha was also only one, and he changed the world. I tell you these things in order for you to understand that the quantity is not the main thing. One spark of Light is enough to illuminate the whole universe.
5. The times will change, so you must resolve in your hearts to be industrious and courageous. Those who are spiritually strong like steel are close to the dawn. To become strong spiritually does not mean to be harsh and heartless. To become strong spiritually means to grow beyond pleasure and pain, beyond heat and cold.
6. Creation is vast and a lot of teachings exist. Adhere to one principle – that of Truth, Simplicity and Love. Live in Truth, Simplicity and Love, and practice Karma Yoga.
7. This, more than others, is an epoch (Yuga) of great destruction. The human being has become enslaved by his lower nature. I have come to guide humanity to a higher Path. I do not belong to any particular religion, but respect all religions. I seek the elevation of all mankind.
8. The Higher Self in people must be developed and enthroned, while the lower self must be destroyed. It will be destroyed in countries all around the world, and people’s hearts will change.
9. Now you should understand that you must live in Truth, Simplicity and Love and spread this message all over the world.
10. To follow and demonstrate the path of Truth, Simplicity and Love is man's supreme duty and the highest Yoga.
Karma Yoga is your first duty
1. I want to describe again how you must be diligent in your work. Hard and creative labor is needed in the world, so you must apply yourselves fully to your work. Do not fall back, but instead go on. Each step you take will benefit the whole world.
2. Fulfilling your duty is the highest accomplishment - higher than other sadhana. Your own duty comes first. The result of hard work is happiness, and the result of laziness is pain.
3. Troubles of this world are caused by inactivity. I repeatedly tell you this so that you will be industrious and be benefited.
4. I want you to become brave warriors and attend carefully to your own duties! This is good for you! I want to see the world of brave and courageous people. In reality, a hard-working sceptic is no better than a lazy spiritual hypocrite. I want to see all people liberated who have become dependent on the illusions of the material world.
5. Man’s power of discernment and his very blood have become thin from pursuing false aims. Those who misuse leisure, defeat the purpose of life and become like mindless donkeys carrying loads on their backs.
6. Each of you must cultivate great courage within yourselves to overcome harmful tendencies in this period. There have not been hundreds of Ramas, Krishna’s, Christs and Moses’. However, They have had a tremendous effects on the whole world.
7. Tireless work is one of the qualities of this Path; for laziness is death on earth. Only by work can one claim victory over karma. All must strive to do their duty in the best possible way and not to wander from that duty.
8. Service to humanity is the first duty. During these times, inhumanity and laziness have strongly increased, so it is important that you work tirelessly and not lose heart. Be brave, be industrious; work hard and have courage.
9. I am searching for the common good for all people, all over the world. Everything you do should benefit mankind. By saving the mankind, everyone will save themselves.
10. I tell you again and again that idleness is like death and will destroy you. An idle man is a burden to the earth; therefore, everyone has to work hard. Spend your time in work. Work is life. Work is a service to God. A man who spends his time in idleness is like a dead man. The time is coming when you will have to work to be saved.
Work is your service
1. Karma Yoga is the highest spiritual practice of this time and will liberate you. The scriptures declare that at the end of each Yuga[4], only Karma Yoga will help you.
2. All must vow to always work and serve, think good and do good! Keep good thoughts in your mind.
3. If you are engaged in doing good deeds and go on performing good acts, you will have good sleep, a good appetite, and bad thoughts will not cross your mind. Otherwise you will always be criticizing others. In idleness, your mind will always be busy with critical thoughts about others. Karma / Action – this is the only thing that can reject the whole evil.
4. Everyone should forget nationality: we are one here! We are a universal family! Have no idea of separation of identity: discard feelings of separateness. Serve the people with mind, body, and brain - with everything you can. There are no castes or creeds here; there are no difficulties!
5. To work, to have good intentions and devote your life to the Service of Humanity is the best. The only requirement on this path to God is Karma Yoga through Service.
6. Everybody must spread this message. More and more people must acquaint themselves with these thoughts and teachings. Every corner of the world must awaken to these words.
7. It is my desire that there be harmony in the universe. My plan is a plan of love – one where the lion and the goat can drink from the same puddle.
8. Firstly, I give you Karma Yoga. You will be able to advance only through Karma Yoga; by Karma Yoga you will be able to benefit others too. A lazy person cannot do karma, and is like a dead man. Give great importance to Karma Yoga and develop yourselves. When laziness is eradicated from this world, all the world's sorrows and troubles will come to an end.
9. Only hard work can make a person powerful and energetic. Karma is of first and foremost importance in your life. I have told you many times that only through Karma Yoga can liberation be achieved. In this age, this is the only kind of yoga one can do; it is the only way to progress and self-realization.
10. Karma Yoga is the only yoga that brings success. This Yoga is so powerful that even when slightly applied, it relieves a man from grief and illnesses. Only that work, which benefits the majority of people is truly called Karma Yoga.
Karma Yoga is the highest yoga!
1. Scientific progress is also achieved through karma alone, through hard work. Those who discovered the atom and created the hydrogen bomb also worked selflessly, not caring about food, sleep, cold or heat. Only in this way could they achieve their aims. They, too, were doing yoga.
2. By Karma Yoga, great things can be achieved. You can bring heaven down to earth. You can change all of creation.
3. Only through Karma Yoga can you advance in life. Your heart will get purified, and you will also have pure thoughts. Karma yoga is also beneficial for your health: you will sleep well, and you will have good appetite. A person with good appetite and sound sleep is always healthy, and with good health, he can achieve everything in his life.
4. I have told you before that there are many kinds of yoga, but Karma Yoga is of supreme importance. Karma Yoga must come first, then the other kinds of Yoga can be added. In the name of Lord Rama, advance and progress through Karma Yoga.
5. Since the times of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna many scriptures have been written. All of them describe the significance of Karma Yoga and teach its greatness. Christ was a Karma Yogi, and the prophet Mohammed followed the path of Karma Yoga.
6. Be inspired! All of you! In the name of Lord Rama, Karma Yoga teaches you to lead a true life. Only Karma Yoga is able to transform the world. Inaction is the cause of pain and troubles.
7. Work is the Maha Yoga, the Supreme Yoga. Not to take this path only means to create troubles for yourselves.
8. Action is the source of all joy. Go on working! Go ahead, making progress. Work until your last breath.
9. The world is transitory. You will find stability only on the path of Karma Yoga. Only action can lead a man to God, and provide liberation for him. The law of Karma is so deep that there are really no words to describe it. The day when Karma stops on the planet will be the day of its dissolution (pralaya).
10. Those who are strongest in spirit, all of you, keep on working! Through karma alone will you be able to change the world. This is the only way.
Love and serve all humanity.

Be a source of irrepressible joy.

There is no saint without a past and no sinner without a future.

OM NAMAH SHIVAYA! Îm
[1] This Rosary is comprised of Babaji’s statements recorded during His life in the Ashram in Hairakhan and published in the book The Teachings of Babaji. The teachings are also posted here: http://babajisamaj.org/, http://www.babaji.net/
[2] The ancient mantra OM NAMAH SHIVAYA in Sanskrit means “I obey God, taking refuge in Him” or “Thy Will be done”. The repetition of “OM NAMAH SHIVAYA” is a path to oneness with the Supreme God. (The name of God used in this mantra is Shiva, the Supreme Manifestation of God).
[3]"JAI MAHAMAYA KI JAI!” means “Glory to the Divine Power!” or “Glory to the Great Initial Creative Energy!” or “Victory of the Supreme Mother, the Divine Power!” Mahamaya is the great energy of the universe. When reading “Jai Mahamaya Ki Jai!” in a group, the first three words “Jai Mahamaya Ki” can be read by the leader of the Rosary, while the last word “ Jai” can be read by everyone together.
Babaji taught to pronounce the jaikara (the glorification of the great Teachers and Gods) in this way: ”When you say “Jai”, say it so the Earth shakes and the skies fall down! Don’t say it like dead people, unwillingly and lifelessly. You will have time to be lifeless when you die. State the jaikara with love and enthusiasm so that people realize that there is someone alive. While you are alive, be lively, be enthusiasts, be brave”.
[4]Yuga is an epoch. Four Yugas altogether exist: the Krita Yuga or Satya Yuga – “the golden age”, the Treta Yuga – “the silver age”, Dvapara Yuga – “the bronze age” and the Kali Yuga – “the iron age”. With every Yuga Dharma (the universal Law) weakens and the suffering increases.
